This is an early morning overcast light view of the south shore looking toward the Makena cinder cone in the distance. The wind was really strong that morning and I love to paint the powerful strength of our trades. Even in the morning light, we see clouds of soft blues and purples. Even white is combined with tints of gray, cream, blue, and purple.
