"Makena Cinder Cone"

I drew one day, and then it rained, so I went back to paint the scene at the Makena Landing parking lot on a brighter day. I love using turquoise, seafoam green, and the "vegetation varying" greens. I brought the cinder cone a little closer to the viewer to show the lovely colors, which I saw: some purple, mauve, blue, and "scene-stealing" earth tones. Now we're cooking with the native plants. I need to include more where the land meets the ocean!
