"Makena"

from $75.00

"Makena"
6”x 8” - Original SOLD
Oil on Board

Makena means "eyes" in Hawaiian. What does this mean? To me, this means that the monkeypod tree is hanging over the shoreline, providing shade on the lava rocks. This inlet provides an "eye" to a beautiful view out in the bay and is one of my favorite spots for plein air painting. Dark clouds are lifting in the background as morning passes. The cinder cone is in the background in an overcast sky.

6”x 8” Giclee Print

"Giclee" is a French term meaning “to spray." The giclee process we use creates a high-resolution image using archival pigment inks, carefully sprayed onto high-quality canvas, capturing the vibrant colors and intricate details of the original artwork.

*Each giclee is printed upon order. If you would like a different size, please contact me directly to place your custom order.
