The ginger lily flower shown here was painted in my front yard. I have a nice border of them on the front window. I drew the flower with oil pastel and then did the watercolor on top of it. They remind me of nature's sacred geometry. How the petals are perfectly placed in a rotational pattern is amazing to me and demands attention when drawing!
