I love to perch on the lava and paint this Baby Beach scene in summer if there's no wind. With lots of fun families in the mix, this scene shows a busy low-tide day! The beautiful, foamy, low waves are frothing over the reef. Beware! Tidal rip is very common here, and when the tide goes out, it really moves. The yellow structure is the Baldwin Beach lifeguard tower.
Low naupaka bushes on the right add to an abstraction in the foreground over the red lava rocks.
