"Under The Influence"

Ellen's clay work will be included in the exhibit Under the Influence:  Where Artists Find Inspiration at the Kimball Jenkins Estate in Concord, NH (pictured) from March 4 - 26, 2009.

The exhibit is the New Hampshire Potters' Guild 2009 Biennial and was juried by Mary Barringer, Editor of Studio Potter magazine.

An opening reception will be held on Friday, March 6th from 5 - 8 pm; the hours of the exhibit are Monday through Saturday, 10 am - 4 pm (closed Sundays).

Ellen writes:

This exhibit will feature the outstanding work of a blend of about 50 artists. You will see the work of beginning potters like myself (potting for 8 years) to those who've made pottery their life-long career. Featured will be the work from the masters of the craft:  Gerrry Williams, Chris Archer, Andy Hampton, Jane Kaufmann, Susan Babine, Ben Putnam, Al Jaeger, and Devitt Liptak --- to name just a few. It is an honor and a priviledge to be showing in the same gallery with these fantastic artists!
